Challenge: Piedmont Advantage Credit Union, a Winston-Salem based financial services provider needed to increase penetration of services with their current membership and gain new members.
Strategies: Bridge Marketing defined the target and needs of the current and prospective PACU customer. A ubiquitous product (credit card) was offered at a very low rate as a way to create differentiation. This rate would interest new customers and further engage current customers to purchase other services from PACU. Marketing efforts were focused across multiple touchpoints to reach the target audience including out of home, in branch signage, as well as direct mail and print, radio and web media.
Results: Credit card application goals were surpassed by over 300% and loan volume increased by over $18 million while exceeding new member application metrics.
